VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Capstone Mining Corp. (CSFFF) on Tuesday reported a second-quarter loss of $27.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 1 cent per share.
The base metals mining company posted revenue of $113.3 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit 40 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 72 cents.
