On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 1 cent per share.
The base metals mining company posted revenue of $128 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit 71 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 56 cents.
