BRISBANE, Calif. (AP) _ CareDx Inc. (CDNA) on Thursday reported a loss of $7.8 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Brisbane, California-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, came to less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.
The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also breakeven on a per-share basis.
The molecular diagnostics company posted revenue of $31.5 million in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $28 million.
CareDx expects full-year revenue in the range of $123 million to $125 million.
CareDx shares have risen 35% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $34, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
