BRISBANE, Calif. (AP) _ CareDx Inc. (CDNA) on Thursday reported a loss of $1.8 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Brisbane, California-based company said it had a loss of 4 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 2 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 1 cent per share.
The molecular diagnostics company posted revenue of $33.8 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $33 million.
CareDx expects full-year revenue in the range of $124 million to $125 million.
CareDx shares have risen slightly more than 4% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $26.21, rising slightly in the last 12 months.
