If you're a sustainable sneakerhead, you're probably a fan of Cariuma shoes. Just in time for the holidays, Cariuma dropped new waterproof winter shoes and a festive Pantone of the Year collection.
The two new winter Cariuma shoes are the OCA Therma and Caturi. Both of these new high-top Cariuma sneakers are made with high-performance 100% vegan suede, super cozy vegan shearling lining and are water-repellent to protect your extremities from the elements. The OCA Therma sneaker for men and women comes in all black suede and all camel suede for a cool, monochromatic vibe. The Caturi style is available in men’s and women’s sizes in both black suede and camel suede with durable D-rings and includes two pairs of laces (one two-tone, one single-color).

Along with Cariuma's new winter drop, the brand launched a Pantone collection with a selection of sneaker styles featuring the Pantone Color of the Year 2023, Viva Magenta. From IBI Slip On sneakers in the vibrant hue to easy OCA Low kicks in off-white with pops of color, these new options are perfectly playful and absolutely eye-catching.

For every pair of Cariuma sneakers purchased, the brand will plant two trees in the Brazilian rainforest. Cariuma is a certified B Corp, meaning the brand has been recognized for its efforts toward sustainability. Cariuma makes its sneakers with sustainably sourced materials, including bamboo, rubber and cork. The brand also states that 65% of its shoes are entirely vegan, a number they hope to continue increasing over the years.
When we tested Cariuma, our editors loved the brand's sustainable practices, as well as the actual sneakers themselves.
