WASHINGTON (AP) _ The Carlyle Group LP (CG) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $17.5 million.
On a per-share basis, the Washington-based company said it had profit of 10 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 25 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 50 cents per share.
The asset management firm posted revenue of $679.1 million in the period.
Carlyle shares have decreased 16 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 15 percent in the last 12 months.
