CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) _ Carolina Financial Corp. (CARO) on Thursday reported second-quarter profit of $15.1 million.
The bank, based in Charleston, South Carolina, said it had earnings of 67 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 73 cents per share.
The holding company for CresCom Bank posted revenue of $55.4 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $45.5 million, which fell short of Street forecasts.
Carolina Financial shares have risen 18% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $34.77, a decrease of 18% in the last 12 months.
