PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) -- The wife of ailing radio personality Casey Kasem has scolded the children of her husband after a Washington state judge granted her stepdaughter regular visits in a dispute over his care.

Jean Kasem spoke Friday outside the home west of Seattle where she and Casey Kasem have been staying with friends.

She said the children should be ashamed for shredding the family.

Her stepdaughter Kerri Kasem told a Kitsap County judge earlier that her father is suffering from bedsores along with lung and bladder infections.

Court filings show Jean Kasem has been in control of her 82-year-old husband's medical care and has controlled access to him, blocking three of his children from seeing him in recent months.
