SAO PAULO (AP) _ Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao (CBD) on Wednesday reported first-quarter profit of $41.1 million.
The Sao Paulo-based company said it had profit of 15 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, came to 14 cents per share.
The retailer posted revenue of $3.37 billion in the period.
CBD shares have risen almost 7% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed roughly 7% in the last 12 months.
