SAO PAULO (AP) _ Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao (CBD) on Tuesday reported second-quarter profit of $133.2 million.
The Sao Paulo-based company said it had profit of 47 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains and to account for discontinued operations, came to 15 cents per share.
The retailer posted revenue of $3.28 billion in the period.
CBD shares have decreased 15 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $20.12, a decline of 8 percent in the last 12 months.
