CBS All Access Names Danny Feldheim VP, Original Content

Danny Feldheim has been named vice president of original content for CBS All Access. He joins the streaming service from Fox’s drama-programming department.

In his new role, Feldheim will focus on current and developing programming, reporting to Julie McNamara, executive vice president of original content for All Access.

“Danny is a forward-thinking creative executive with strong relationships in the talent community who shares our enthusiasm for launching our new premium service,” said McNamara. “We are thrilled to have him on our team.

With the addition of Feldheim, CBS continues to build out an original-programming team for All Access led by McNamara — who was promoted in June to her current role and reports to CBS Television Studios president David Stapf and Marc DeBevoise, president and chief operating officer, CBS Interactive. All Access will launch its first original series, a spinoff of “The Good Wife” in February, followed later in the year by another original series, “Star Trek: Discovery.” CBS executives have said they plan to launch four original scripted series for the service in 2017.

At Fox, Feldheim helped to develop and oversee series such as “24: Legacy,” “The Exorcist,” “Rosewood,” “Gotham,” and “Red Band Society.” He began his career there in the comedy development department. Prior to joining Fox, Feldheim worked at Nickelodeon, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and ICM.
