Celebrity Big Brother 2018: Line-up 'confirmed'

Celebrity Big Brother is set to return to Channel 5 this summer. Here’s all we know so far about CBB 2018…

This year’s theme revealed

2018 celebrates Big Brother’s 18th Birthday, and they’ve just released the first look at their edgy new CBB eye.

The official BBUK Twitter page published the first look with the caption, “Here’s a very special treat to mark our 18th birthday: a first look at the BRAND NEW #CBB eye!”

Meanwhile, Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark-Neal revealed on his Twitter account that the theme of this year’s series will be ‘Eye of the Storm.’

Who’s going in? Official line-up confirmed?

As per usual, the official line-up for the 22nd series of Celebrity Big Brother is being kept firmly under wraps. However, according to The Sun the ‘confirmed’ contestant list is as follows:

Stormy Daniels confirmed?

With this year’s theme as ‘Eye of the Storm’ surely there would be no better contestant choice than Stormy Daniels. The controversial porn actress infamously had an affair with President Donald Trump and claims she was paid hush money. CBB bosses are apparently keen to sign up Stormy and rumour has it an offer of up to £750k is on the table.

And it seems like CBB narrator Marcus Bentley has confirmed Stormy’s appearance after he left this major hint on Big Brother UK’s official Twitter account:

What’s more, The Sun is confirming that Daniels will be joining CBB this week. “Stormy is the biggest signing for this year’s show and she’ll make headlines around the world,” a source told The Sun.

Ryan Thomas

He’ll be introduced in the show’s late-night special.

Ryan Thomas, another former Corrie star, is also rumoured to be heading for the CBB house. The 34-year-old quit playing Jason Grimshaw on Coronation Street in 2016 for a career in Hollywood and has since appeared in Aussie soap Neighbours as Rafael Humphries. And he’d be in good company as both of his actor brothers Adam and Scott have had their own taste of reality telly fame – appearing in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Love Island respectively.

Jermaine Pennant

The footballer is one of a number of famous faces tipped to join the reality show.

Jermaine Pennant has shocked everyone by his bed-hopping revelations in his upcoming autobiography. Desperate to prove himself as a ‘changed man,’ the ex-Arsenal and Liverpool star supposedly – and perhaps bizarrely – sees Celebrity Big Brother as the perfect opportunity to do so.

Sally Morgan

Apparently TV psychic Sally Morgan is a shoo-in. A television psychic for decades, Morgan claims to have seen her first ghost at the age of 4. And she wouldn’t be the first psychic to enter CBB, as in 2017 former Most Haunted clairvoyant Derek Acorah competed.

Ben Jardine

It’s always been a bit hard to take the ‘Celebrity’ aspect of CBB seriously but this really seems to take the cake. Apparently former Married at First Sight Ben Jardine contestant will be entering the house. Jardine appeared on the 2018 series, and split with fellow contestant Stephanie shortly after they married on the show. He also supposedly cheated on her with a 20-year-old colleague.

Natalie Nunn

Another virtual unknown, Natalie Nunn is only famous in the USA, where she appeared on the fourth series of cable reality show Bad Girls Club in 2009-2010. Nunn was known for causing controversy in the series, including physical and verbal assaults. And she posted a picture of herself on Instagram in first class on an international flight from San Francisco just two days ago – so we think her appearance is highly likely.

Roxanne Pallett

After surviving a horrific car crash just weeks ago, former Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallett has reportedly landed a £750k deal to enter the CBB house. And she should have plenty to talk about as she’s also just revealed that she’s engaged to her boyfriend Lee Walton after only knowing him for a week.

Nick Leeson

Nick Leeson is a shamed trader and banker who’s actions led to the collapse of Barings Bank in 1995 – at the cost of £800 million. Fleeing the law, Leeson was captured by Singaporean authorities and sentenced to six-and-a-half years in a Singapore prison. Released early in 1999 after being diagnosed with cancer, Leeson has gone on to become a successful motivational speaker.

Kirstie Alley

Former Cheers actress and yo-yo dieter Kirstie Alley is reportedly keen to cross over the pond and revive her career on CBB. The 67-year-old actress was once a major star, but is perhaps now best known for being a high profile scientologist. She should have plenty of interesting tales to tell if she does enter the house, as she’s been friends with fellow thetans Tom Cruise and John Travolta for decades.

Gabby Allen

2018 Love Island contestant Gabby Allen has been rumoured to be heading for CBB for months. In April Gabby split from her Love Island beau Marcel Sommerville after discovering he’d cheated on her and rumour has it she’s keen to spill the dirt on their relationship.

Dan Osborne

Gabby could be joining the CBB house with an awkwardly familiar face – Dan Osborne. The married TOWIE star and tattoo artist was recently caught up in affair allegations with Gabby – after the two were photoed getting close in Marbella.

You’ve probably spotted Rodrigo Alves aka the ‘Human Ken Doll’ many times in the tabloids. The 34-year-old Brazilian claims to have had over 150 cosmetic surgeries to date and is friends with a rota of Z-list celebrities – including former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chloe Khan.

Chloe Ayling

Chloe Ayling is the British model who was kidnapped for six days in Milan after applying for a model advert. Rumour has it she wants to sign up for a show such as CBB and set the record straight on her ordeal.

Also rumoured

While the following celebrities aren’t in The Sun’s ‘confirmed’ list, we still wouldn’t rule out the following celebrities as if Celebrity Big Brother has taught us anything over the years – it’s full of surprises.

Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Grant

CBB bosses are supposedly desperate to land Samantha Grant, Meghan Markle’s half-sister. The 53-year-old wheelchair bound half-sister to Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has gained notoriety thanks to her less than flattering remarks about Meghan. Fun fact: Paddy Power are taking bets on her appearing on the show, and she currently has a 10/11 chance of appearing.

Kieran Hayler

Kieran Hayler is the third and estranged husband of Katie Price. Price claims he has cheated on her with two of her friends and their children’s nanny. Sources say Hayler is keen to enter CBB and tell his ‘side of the story.’

Georgia May Foote

Georgia May Foote shot to fame when she starred in Coronation Street as teen mum Katy Armstrong between 2010 to 2015. She also proved popular on 2015’s Strictly Come Dancing for which she was a runner-up and CBB bosses are supposedly banking on this popularity.

Jonathan Van Ness

Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness

Celebrity hair stylist Jonathan Van Ness is now a major celebrity thanks to the seemingly overnight success of Netflix Queer Eye for the Straight Guy reboot Queer Eye. Jonathan has an incredible 1.9 million Instagram followers and counts Gigi Hadid as a personal friend. While CBB honchos are apparently desperate to sign him up – we wonder if he’s perhaps too big a name for she Channel 5 series…

Bobby Norris

TOWIE fan favourite and best friend to Gemma Collins Bobby Norris is tipped to appear on this summer’s CBB. The 31-year-old The Only Way is Essex star and fashion designer would be in good company – as a multitude of TOWIE stars have already appeared in CBB – including: his BFF Gemma Collins, Sam Faiers, Kirk Norcross and Megan McKenna.

John Leslie

Celebrity Big Brother has never avoided stirring the pot and they are rumoured to be trying to secure controversial former presenter John Leslie. The former Blue Peter and Wheel of Fortune presenter’s career has been mired in controversy for years. John was back in the headlines this June when he was cleared of sexual assault.

When is Celebrity Big Brother on?
