MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Ceridian HCM Holding Inc. (CDAY) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $62.7 million.
The Minneapolis-based company said it had profit of 42 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 11 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 10 cents per share.
The provider of human-resources software and services posted revenue of $202.3 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $196.5 million.
Ceridian expects full-year revenue in the range of $822 million to $825 million.
Ceridian shares have climbed 45% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $50.03, a climb of 27% in the last 12 months.
