The Concord, California-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents per share.
The biomedical products company posted revenue of $12 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $62.9 million, or 62 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $39.3 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $4.15. A year ago, they were trading at $5.63.
