Charles Manson Hospitalized for Unknown Medical Condition: 'It’s Just a Matter of Time'
Notorious mass murderer Charles Manson was carted to a California hospital this week for treatment of an unspecified medical condition, according to reports.
The killer was transported to Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield, where he’s confined to a gurney and flanked by five police officers, TMZ reported.

While the details of the 83-year-old’s condition are not yet clear, his health is believed to have taken a turn for the worse.
“It’s just a matter of time,” a source told TMZ.
His most recent hospitalization is not the first health scare for the most notable inmate at California State Prison, Corcoran.
Manson was taken to Mercy Hospital back in January for treatment of what was regarded as a serious illness. He later returned to prison.
He is serving nine concurrent life sentences for his role in the 1969 murders of pregnant actress Sharon Tate and six others.
In August 1969, Manson led some of his followers to kill Tate and four others at a Hollywood Hills home. They killed two additional victims the next night a few miles away.

The Manson Family reign of terror continued over the next five weeks after Manson convinced his followers they were destined to start an apocalyptic race war from which they would emerge victorious.
His followers were later implicated in numerous other crimes, including an attempt to assassinate then-President Gerald Ford.
