WEST POINT, Ga. (AP) _ Charter Financial Corp. (CHFN) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $3.3 million.
On a per-share basis, the West Point, Georgia-based company said it had profit of 22 cents.
The bank posted revenue of $17.9 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $16.2 million.
Charter shares have risen 22 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $20.30, an increase of 54 percent in the last 12 months.
