CINCINNATI (AP) _ Chemed Corp. (CHE) on Monday reported first-quarter net income of $44.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Cincinnati-based company said it had profit of $2.70. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $2.92 per share.
The operator of the Roto-Rooter plumbing service and Vitas Healthcare hospices posted revenue of $462 million in the period.
Chemed expects full-year earnings in the range of $12.65 to $12.85 per share.
Chemed shares have climbed 17% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $330.77, an increase of roughly 7% in the last 12 months.
