CINCINNATI (AP) _ Chemed Corp. (CHE) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $82.1 million.
On a per-share basis, the Cincinnati-based company said it had net income of $5.01. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $4.41 per share.
The operator of the Roto-Rooter plumbing service and Vitas Healthcare hospices posted revenue of $502.2 million in the period.
Chemed expects full-year earnings in the range of $16.20 to $16.40 per share.
Chemed shares have risen 7% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $470.46, a climb of 19% in the last 12 months.
