Right Choice Transfer Redoubles Efforts to Assist Timeshare Owners in Wake of New Florida Law

TORRANCE, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 14, 2013) - Right Choice Transfer, a California company with expertise in timeshare transfers, has announced today its guaranteed service to relieve timeshare owners of burdensome timeshare contracts will continue to be available for owners and comply with new legislation in Florida.

The Timeshare Resale Accountability Act (HB7025) has the ability to restrict or block certain timeshare transfers from owners who no longer have a use for their resort, or who can no longer afford to maintain ownership. This bill may affect the sale or transfer of timeshare resorts that exist in the state of Florida, effective July 1, 2013.

Florida House Bill HB7025 was designed by the Regulatory Affairs Committee; Business and Professional Regulation Subcommittee and has been extensively backed and lobbied by timeshare resort developers and the American Resort Development Association (ARDA).

Timeshare resale scams in the past have caused major headaches for owners looking for a viable solution to dispose of their unwanted timeshares. Owners who no longer wish to own their timeshare find it extremely difficult to find a buyer for their unwanted resort, falling prey to companies who mislead them into thinking they have a buyer ready to take ownership.

The new law in Florida cracks down on these fraudulent practices and imposes steep penalties on organizations that take upfront money from timeshare owners and fail to actually facilitate the transfer of title.

Right Choice Transfer has stated its excitement regarding this new law. "With the passing of this legislation, timeshare owners will find it much easier to contract with a reputable company when looking to transfer timeshare ownership," remarked William Sanders of Right Choice Transfer. "Our industry is filled with organizations operating solely to rip off unsuspecting timeshare owners. We are excited about the opportunity rise to the top and provide timeshare owners a safe and effective solution for their timeshare resale or transfer."
