Chrissy Teigen Is Addicted to This Bedtime Snack & John Legend Is Only Making Things Worse

Brush your teeth, wash your face, moisturize said face: Sounds like a pretty common pre-bedtime ritual, right? For some of us, that list may or may not be prefaced with a nightcap with a side of night cheese as well (thank you, Liz Lemon, for making us feel a little less alone). But for Chrissy Teigen? Apparently she’s been on a pre-bed sandwich kick.

Yes, you read that right: She’s been eating sandwiches before bed.

On May 14, Teigen tweeted that she’s had a “mean sandwich addiction.” And we can’t fault her for that; those carbs can be difficult to kick. But immediately afterward, she followed up that tweet with a real head-scratcher:

“I can be totally full but can’t sleep without my pre-bed sandwich,” she wrote.

We thought it ended there, but nope, because yesterday she further emphasized just how out of hand this addiction has gotten for her — to the point where she had to ask her husband, John Legend, to stop feeding her sandwiches (a sentence we thought we’d never write, but it’s Teigen, so we can’t be all that surprised).

“This morning, I told John do not, under any circumstance, make me a bedtime sandwich, no matter how hard I ask. I asked him for one tonight and he made it. While it WAS delicious, should I be mad??” the tweet reads.

As if we needed to repeat it, we will one more time: World, meet Teigen, the most relatable person, ever.

And when we say that, we don’t mean we eat pre-bed sandwiches, specifically, but carb-loading right before bed because we have zero control and lack the willpower to resist? Yes, yep, done it.

Keep an eye on Teigen’s Twitter because we have a feeling we’ll get a part three to this saga soon — and maybe also an update on how her recipe website is coming along.
