Cincinnati Bell: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

CINCINNATI (AP) _ Cincinnati Bell Inc. (CBB) on Thursday reported a loss of $17.7 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Cincinnati-based company said it had a loss of 41 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 16 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 17 cents per share.

The regional telephone company posted revenue of $386.7 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $390.3 million.

Cincinnati Bell expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.2 billion to $1.27 billion.

Cincinnati Bell shares have decreased 28 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 24 percent in the last 12 months.
