Cisco buying U.K. 4G provider

Networking gear maker Cisco Systems (CSCO) said it will buy Ubiquisys, a U.K.-based provider of 3G and leading edge 4G LTE technology for $310 mil. The acquisition will boost Cisco's position in the mobile market, and follows recent Cisco purchases, including Intucell and BroadHop, which makes network management software. The acquisitions help boost the networking leader's growing mobile infrastructure business. Shares fell 0.1% to 21.20.
