CityPlace welcomes back its signature spring art festival March 29 - 30, 2014. This two-day juried event features an eclectic display of artwork by the finest artists in the country, including top talent from throughout South Florida. The artistic media will include paintings, life size sculptures, photography, ceramics, glass, wood, collage, mixed media, and handmade jewelry with prices set to suit all budgets.
The streets within this popular retail and dining destination will be closed to vehicular traffic to better accommodate festival patrons as they stroll through the vast array of art. All of the artists will be present for the duration of the show and encourage art enthusiasts to ask questions about their work.
A free art giveaway will feature the work of mixed media artist Diana Ahrens. The prize, a 48" x 24" piece titled "Champion I" and valued at $2,600, will be on display at her booth where registration will also take place.
