FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) -- Clarcor Inc., a maker of filtration products, said Monday that its board authorized a dividend of 17 cents, up from 13.5 cents last quarter.
Clarcor said the 26-percent raise is the largest increase in its payout in at least the past two decades. It typically raises its dividend every year.
The Franklin, Tenn., company will pay the dividend Oct 18 to shareholders of record Oct. 11.
Shares of Clarcor closed at $55.53, up 48 cents. The stock dipped 9 cents to $55.44 in after-hours trading.
