NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) _ Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (CLNE) on Thursday reported a loss of $5.4 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Newport Beach, California-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 2 cents per share.
The provider of natural gas as an alternative fuel for vehicle fleets posted revenue of $72.3 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $2.62. A year ago, they were trading at $2.46.
