Click With Me Now Introduces 1-Click, No Download Websharing at DEMO Fall 2012

New Peer-to-Peer Technology Allows Secure Web Screen Co-Browsing, Will Be Showcased in Communications Category on the DEMO Stage

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 2, 2012) - Click With Me Now, the 1-Click, No Download Websharing Technology, announced today they are launching their new patent-pending web co-browsing sharing solution at DEMO Fall 2012, world-renowned for launching the most innovative companies in enterprise, mobile, cloud computing, consumer, social media and disruptive technologies. Click With Me Now allows consumers to share their web screen securely and in real time.

Every year, more purchases and more decisions are being made online. Click With Me Now founders have deep experience in healthcare and retail and believe their technology will be particularly helpful when people are researching and purchasing health insurance and other complex products.

As part of the Affordable Care Act, in 2014, 115 million Americans who have never bought individual health insurance before will be entering that marketplace and will need a product like Click With Me Now to facilitate their purchase.

Research from the Pew Internet & American Life Project shows that in 2012, more than 50% of Americans over 65 are Internet users. 10,000 people a day turn 65 and will have to make Medicare and other retirement-related decisions.

"At Blue Cross, we see many seniors a day, and most of them need help understanding their Medicare options and making choices. They often want that help from a family member while they review our materials online," said Jim Gallagher, Vice President, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island. "By incorporating Click With Me Now websharing technology, we're looking forward to reducing abandonment and, more importantly, helping consumers make more confident buying decisions."

To date, co-browsing has been primarily focused on business collaboration, particularly screen sharing during meetings. Consumers have been able to use these technologies, but until now they have been expensive and require a download.

Click With Me Now is the next evolution of websharing. This social browsing experience allows for a person to share webpages with people they trust, from friends and family to advisors, regarding everything from health or financial decisions to getting opinions on what car or television to buy. This unique technology works safely, securely and at no cost to the consumer.

"Click With Me Now allows for help in researching and buying online when friends and family can't be standing over your shoulder," said Click With Me Now Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Brian Handrigan. "But in addition to better facilitating the online purchase, our vision is to help companies understand how people share web sites with each other. It's learning from the ways people collaborate on web sites with others that will ultimately make the Internet a better place for everyone."

Handrigan and co-founder Mark Comiso will lead a live, six-minute demonstration of Click With Me Now on the DEMO Fall 2012 stage on Tuesday, October 2nd and will host live demonstrations along with co-founder Mike Behr beginning today at Booth D51 in the DEMO Fall 2012 pavilion.

"Today's consumer technologies are built for many purposes -- to improve health, manage knowledge, increase productivity, and to simply have fun -- and with the uses of these technologies continuing to grow, the innovation behind them is staggering," said Matt Marshall, executive producer of DEMO. "DEMO Fall 2012 is bringing these game-changing technologies to the launch stage and showcasing what our future holds."

Click With Me Now is easily installed on customer-facing websites and the uses are limitless. The distinctive features include no-downloads, brand website integration, and that guests can see what you see but cannot change what you do. Users can share a webpage, in real time, without sharing the rest of their desktop screen, with multiple parties if desired. If there is information on the webpage that needs to remain private, like a credit card, users can make their screen private until they're ready to share again. The technology works with any platform, from PCs to Macs to any mobile device that has a web browser, including smartphones and tablets.

Behavioral research from Southern Illinois University on the buying process shows that most information on decision-making is focused on tangible products, and with a much younger demographic. When people get older, purchases become more abstract and they need additional research and advice to come to a more sound choice.

"When people are making complex decisions, whether it is a vacation or health care, the reality is, they're looking to confer with others," said Suzanne Altobello, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Marketing, Southern Illinois University. "People share information with family and friends to help gain confidence, particularly if they don't feel they are experts themselves. It's something most people do to feel better about the decisions they make."

The co-founders of Click With Me Now developed their technology with this research in mind, to help facilitate complex purchase decisions and incorporate the social aspect of research and online buying.

Click With Me Now is launching an invite-based sign up at DEMO Fall 2012. Starting next week, consumers will be able to enter web sites that they would like to see incorporate this new technology at iwantclickwithmenow.com.
