ClickAClinic.com®, a Florida-based telemedicine company specializing in a broad range of services, announced today that it has settled pending trademark proceedings with ClickItClinic, Inc. The parties have entered into a Settlement Agreement which ensures ClickAClinic.com®’s trademark rights are protected and that patients and physicians will similarly be protected from being confused.
The Agreement relates to an action filed by ClickAClinic.com® against ClickItClinic, Inc. with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. ClickAClinic.com® sought to bar ClickItClinic, Inc. from registering its trademark. ClickAClinic.com® further demanded ClickItClinic, Inc. cease use of the trademark in the marketplace because of the likelihood that such use would cause confusion. In an agreement effective February 6, 2017, ClickItClinic, Inc. agreed to cease all uses of the trademark within 90 days.
