NEW YORK (AP) _ CM Finance Inc. (CMFN) on Wednesday reported fiscal first-quarter net income of $1.4 million.

On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had profit of 10 cents. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs, came to 25 cents per share.

The specialty finance company posted revenue of $8.3 million in the period.

CM shares have declined slightly since the beginning of the year.
