CME Options Volatility: Gold, Equities Lead Rise in Volatilities

Just about all CME asset class volatilities rose today with gold and equities leading the charge. We also saw volatility increases in energy and fixed-income -- especially in the 10-year note. Beyond that, markets are strangely quiet as we await either the "fiscal compromise" or the "fiscal cliff."
