Cole Sprouse and Skeet Ulrich Trolled a Photo Posted by Lili Reinhart

When it comes to epic social media pranks, the cast of Riverdale reigns supreme. From Cole Sprouse pretending to write Sweet Pea fanfiction to an memorable troll of Lili Reinhart performed by KJ Apa and Casey Cott, the cast is definitely not afraid to have some fun with one another. We're used to them trolling each other, but a new photo posted by Lili has Cole trolling himself.

On Saturday (October 13) evening, Lili shared a nice Instagram photo of Cole on the beach. In the photo, Cole is smiling, holding a hat, and wearing a camera around his neck. It seemed to be just another ordinary 'gram, but then Cole and his Riverdale costar Skeet Ulrich decided to have some fun, leaving behind hilarious comments.

The former Suite Life star poked fun at the constant questions that surround his relationship with Lili, writing, "Are you guys dating?" His teasing soon received the support of his Riverdale dad, as Skeet weighed in with a comment regarding Cole's hat in the photo. "It's not my favorite hat but I don't mind," he wrote.

Fans quickly gave their likes to the interaction, proving that the Internet can't get enough of the social media love between the Riverdale cast members. In fact, it was only a month ago that Lili participated in some social media joking. After KJ joked about Lili not sitting next to Cole during an outing, she trolled fans with speculation that the pair had broken up.

Although Lili and Cole continue to poke fun about the status of their relationship, it is important to remember that the pair have the right to keep things between them. Their relationship has faced continued scrutiny from the press, and Lili has continued to advocate for privacy. She touched on the subject during an interview with Teen Vogue, saying, "I keep my relationship private because it’s just between two people, and that’s the way it should be. It's not like I'm trying to dangle my relationship in front of people's faces like, 'you don't know anything about us.' It's just, you don't need to know. People feel like they're owed that, and you're absolutely not owed anything by me."

It's totally fine to support and show social media love for your favorite celebrities, but Lili's comments are a great reminder that what happens in their off-screen relationships are not our business. In the meantime, you can always follow along with their Internet hijinks.
