Colgate-Palmolive Earnings, Revenue beat in Q4

Investing.com - Colgate-Palmolive (NYSE:CL) reported fourth quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Friday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $0.74 on revenue of $3.81B. Analysts polled by Investing.com forecast EPS of $0.73 on revenue of $3.78B. That compared to EPS of $0.75 on revenue of $3.89B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.72 on revenue of $3.85B in the previous quarter.

On Wednesday, Procter&Gamble reported second quarter EPS of $1.25 on revenue of $17.44B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $1.21 on revenue of $17.16B.

Kimberly-Clark earnings missed analyst's expectations on Wednesday, with fourth quarter EPS of $1.6 on revenue of $4.57B. Investing.com analysts expected EPS of $1.66 on revenue of $4.45B
