SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) _ Collectors Universe Inc. (CLCT) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $1.5 million.

The Santa Ana, California-based company said it had net income of 17 cents per share.

The provider of authentication for collectibles posted revenue of $15.7 million in the period.

Collectors Universe shares have climbed 22 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $13.86, a decline of 45 percent in the last 12 months.
