A big miss at Foot Locker (FL). The retailer came up short on earnings and revenue while same store sales were weaker than the street was expecting. Still, the CEO says they're seeing momentum, and Foot Locker reaffirmed their outlook for the rest of the year.
It’s a different story at Hibbett Sports (HIBB). The retailer posted another BIG beat on earnings and revenue. It's done that in two of the last four quarters. The CEO attributed the gains to growing online sales and said they're moving to close some "unproductive" stores.
CBS (CBS) is bringing Captain Picard back to Starfleet. The network just released this trailer for the new Star Trek: Picard series, featuring Patrick Stewart in the iconic role. It's set in the year 2399, 20 years after the end of "The Next Generation". The new series will air on CBS All Access, but no premiere date has been announced yet.
