• J.C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE:JCP) shares lost 0.7% after Steven Roth, Chairman and CEO of Vornado Realty Trust, announced his resignation from the company’s board

• Galena Biopharma Inc (NASDAQ:GALE) shares dropped 14.9% after the company divested 17.5 million shares for $2 a piece
