MELVILLE, N.Y. (AP) _ Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (CMTL) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $6.6 million.
On a per-share basis, the Melville, New York-based company said it had profit of 28 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 1 cent per share.
The communications company posted revenue of $139 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $138.7 million.
Comtech expects full-year revenue in the range of $570 million to $580 million.
Comtech shares have dropped 6 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $11.13, a fall of 48 percent in the last 12 months.
