BILLERICA, Mass. (AP) _ ConforMIS Inc. (CFMS) on Wednesday reported a loss of $7.4 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Billerica, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 20 cents per share.
The medical technology company posted revenue of $29 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $19.2 million.
ConforMIS expects full-year revenue in the range of $88.6 million to $89.1 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit 87 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $3.54.
