HOUSTON (AP) _ Contango Oil & Gas Co. (MCF) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $8.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Houston-based company said it had a loss of 26 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs, came to 25 cents per share.
The oil and gas company posted revenue of $14 million in the period.
The company's shares closed at $3.24. A year ago, they were trading at $3.55.
