A brand-new dessert is hitting freezer aisles this year, thanks to Bubbies Homemade Ice Cream & Desserts. The brand is known for its mochi ice cream bites, but is expanding its portfolio with Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites. It just might be your new favorite way to eat ice cream on the go.

The bites come in four flavors, and we can’t decide which box we’re diving into first: Chocolate Chip, which is chocolate chip cookie dough with vanilla chocolate chip ice cream; Brownie Batter, which is brownie batter cookie dough with peanut butter ice cream inside; Sugar Cookie, which is sugar cookie dough with strawberry ice cream; and Birthday Cake, which is birthday cake cookie dough with vanilla ice cream.

Think of the bites like inverted chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Instead of the cookie dough being in the ice cream, the ice cream is in the cookie dough. The dough is gluten-free, egg-free, and safe to eat. So those warnings about not eating raw cookie dough don’t apply here.

The Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites are slated to hit stores this summer. Each box contains six bites and will be available for $5.99 to $6.99.

“Cookie dough is a classic favorite that’s here to stay,” Rick Schaffer, CEO of Bubbies, said in a press release. “By coupling these delicious cookie dough flavors with our expertise in premium bite-sized ice cream treats, we’re opening a new world of innovative snacking possibilities.”
