Drumstick has been owning the pre-made ice cream cone market for eons now, but it's branched out into popsicles here and there. Now, the brand has a Cookies ‘n’ Cream bar out, and it looks so, so good.
The new bars, which were spotted by Instagram account @snackgator, have a cookies ‘n’ cream ice cream center, and a chocolate cookie crumble-coated outer layer. But here’s where they take things to the next level: The outer part is described as a “melt in your mouth crushed cookie coating.”
“OMG! Look what we spotted, hiding in the freezer section with the rest of the regular ice cream, as if it’s no big deal,” @snackgator wrote in the caption. “Obviously this Drumstick Cookies ’n’ Cream doesn’t realize that it can totally sit at the cool kids’ table. It just appeared, with no warning, press release, hype or advertising.” They, too, were super stoked about the melt in your mouth coating. “We are so game for this unique treat! Cookies ‘n’ cream ice cream coated in crushed fake Oreo cookies? SOLD!,” they wrote. Same! SAME.
People naturally lost it in the comments. “Hawtt diggggity dawggg,” one wrote. “Looks much cooler than the actual Oreo brand ice cream sticks!” another said. Plenty of people went on to tag their friends because, hello.
Apparently @snackgator spotted these treats at Kroger and, as of right now, we can’t find them anywhere online—not even on the Drumstick website. Still, they have to be in other stores, right? Right?! We reached out to Nestle and will update this post if we get any more info!
If you’re dying to get your hands on these bars, you can hit up your local Kroger. Or, if that’s not an option, you can roll the dice and hope your local grocery store carries this gem, too. Just know that you might just have to settle for Drumstick’s Simply Dipped Cookies & Cream cones instead. Sigh. Just kidding! They're great!
