SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) _ Cornerstone OnDemand Inc. (CSOD) on Monday reported a loss of $13.8 million in its first quarter.
The Santa Monica, California-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 23 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 24 cents per share.
The developer of human-resources software posted revenue of $150.1 million in the period.
Cornerstone OnDemand shares have decreased 39% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $36, a decline of 33% in the last 12 months.
