NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jun 25, 2013) - Corra, a leading provider of eCommerce and multi-channel commerce solutions, announced today the successful launch of five eCommerce sites during the week of May 28th for brands Nicole Miller, Easton, Easton Cycling, Dollie & Me and Villa. In the last six weeks, Corra has successfully launched or re-launched eight different sites or apps, a reflection of the firm's rapid growth and commitment to flawless execution of Magento deployments, upgrades and redesigns. The most recent batch of launches include:
- Nicole Miller: Iconic American designer Nicole Miller has more than 20 boutiques in major cities across the country. The company came to Corra looking for a new platform and a new look. Launched on May 29th, the new site features cutting edge design and all-new functionality.
- Easton and Easton Cycling: Following the successful upgrade to the latest version of Magento for Riddell, the Easton-Bell Sports brand visible on virtually all NFL and college football helmets, Corra executed upgrades for both Easton (baseball, Lacrosse and Hockey equipment) and Easton Cycling. Corra's recoding preserved all existing functionality and the re-launches went live without any issues. Two more sites in the Easton-Bell Sports family of brands will be re-launched in the coming months.
- Dollie & Me (dollieme.com): A brand of Kahn Lucas, a 124 year-old designer and wholesaler of branded girls' dresses, Dollie & Me sells matching apparel for young girls and their dolls. Dollie & Me's previous home-grown website had no eCommerce capabilities whatsoever. Corra re-launched the site onto Magento Enterprise Edition with a completely overhauled design. To support Kahn Lucas' foray into eCommerce, Corra also integrated the new site with an EDI-based warehouse system.
- Villa (ruvilla.com): The fast-growing urban footwear and apparel company has 80 stores in the U.S. Following the launch of a full-blown and first-ever eCommerce site last month, Corra launched the company's mobile eCommerce app on May 29th. The app features many of the same innovative design elements found on the Villa website such as: Villa Dollars, a form of virtual currency used towards making purchases on the site and a "find near me" feature that allows customers to find a product in a nearby retail store.
"We came to Corra with a big vision to build a beautiful web site that would engage and inspire. They committed themselves to working closely with us to see our vision through to the end," said Andrea Marron, Director of Digital Strategy for Nicole Miller.
"While we're launching sites at a record pace for our company, the thing I am most proud of is that we are maintaining excellence in execution across all aspects of our projects," said Michael Harvey, COO of Corra. "We are proving that we can continue to grow and scale our business at a rapid pace without sacrificing the quality that we have become known for."
Corra implements a wide variety of advanced functionality for its clients. All of these custom designs and features enhance the customer experience for online shoppers, leading directly to higher conversion rates and more sales for Corra's clients. Some of the innovative features included in recent launches include alerts for users when an out-of-stock product returns to stock; a "find near me" feature which tells customers if a product is in-stock at a nearby physical retail location; and custom shipping attributes to allow each product to have multiple flat shipping rates.
