Tim Hortons® continues to reimagine its classic restaurants with its latest unveiling of a 900 sq.ft drive-thru only model. This model is the latest in its line-up of its next generation restaurants, which also includes a 1600 sq.ft. restaurant with a 24-seat dining room. The new restaurant models offer an improved guest experience, while maintaining Tim Hortons’® renowned warm and welcoming feel of your neighborhood coffeeshop.

Modern and timeless, the new restaurants are designed for an even more convenient guest experience with a drive-thru only model that maximizes drive thru efficiency and speed of service so you can get your morning brew without any hassle. The 1600 sq. ft. restaurant exterior and interior design is unique and attention grabbing, and true to the brand as being cozy and inviting to all guests. The new designs also work seamlessly with the Tim Hortons app which allows guests to order ahead of time for pick-up, collect reward points for free items, and access to exclusive weekly offers. The model also features a mobile pick up shelf and VIP mobile order parking spots. As part of the updated restaurant models, the menu is simplified, but features new items, such as Tim Hortons refreshers and energy drinks, alongside Tim Hortons® guests favorites like Iced Capps, Donuts, Timbits®, Breakfast Sandwiches, and Tim Hortons® signature freshly-brewed Original Blend coffee.

“Our guests are looking for great service and high-quality coffee and food, all adding up to a great experience when visiting Tim Hortons® restaurants. Our new restaurant designs offer all of that and more,” says Jay Pritchett, Head of Marketing, of Tim Hortons U.S. “We’ve innovated our restaurant interior to offer a designated mobile order pick-up area. We also offer an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for guests who choose to dine-in and spend time in our restaurants.”

There have been over 10 Tim Hortons new model restaurants built with a dining room since 2020, with over 20 more in the pipeline to open by the end of 2022. The first drive-thru only model restaurants will open this summer in several states including West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan and New York.
