MONACO (AP) _ Costamare Inc. (CMRE) on Monday reported fourth-quarter profit of $27.1 million.

On a per-share basis, the company said it had net income of 16 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 27 cents per share.

The shipping company posted revenue of $119.1 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $8.9 million, or 18 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $460.3 million.

Costamare shares have increased almost 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $8.43, an increase of almost 4% in the last 12 months.
