LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) _ Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. (CBRL) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $61.4 million.
On a per-share basis, the Lebanon, Tennessee-based company said it had profit of $2.55. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $2.19 per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.66 per share.
The restaurant operator posted revenue of $810.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $247.6 million, or $10.29 per share. Revenue was reported as $3.03 billion.
Cracker Barrel expects full-year earnings in the range of $8.95 to $9.10 per share, with revenue expected to be $3.04 billion.
Cracker Barrel shares have decreased 5 percent since the beginning of the year.
