EASTON, PA--(Marketwired - May 24, 2013) - The all-new Crayola Experience opened its doors Friday, May 24 with 18 one-of-a-kind attractions and a celebration marking the 110th birthday of Crayola® crayons.
At 60,000 square feet, the newest iteration of the Crayola Experience uses interactive features to help children explore art and technology, express their creativity, and experience color in a whole new way. The facility closed in early 2013 to complete work on a multi-million dollar renovation and expansion project.
Re-imagined from floor to ceiling with the help of Jack Rouse Associates of Ohio, the same minds behind popular attraction designs at Legoland, Coca-Cola World, Universal Studios, and more, the Crayola Experience boasts four bright, colorful floors of unique activities that allow children to customize their own crayons, create their own multi-color markers, animate their designs on the big screen, and burn off creative energy inside a larger-than-life crayon box.
Opened in 1996 as a Crayola-themed discovery center for children, the Crayola Experience has welcomed more than four million visitors from around the world. It is home to Café Crayola, the official Crayola Store, and dozens of unique mementos from Crayola's history.
Tickets and annual passes are available online at CrayolaExperience.com. For more information, visit CrayolaExperience.com or call 610-515-8000.
