PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. (AP) _ CSS Industries Inc. (CSS) on Thursday reported a fiscal second-quarter loss of $4.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of 54 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 32 cents per share.
The maker of gift wrap, gift bags and greeting cards posted revenue of $112.9 million in the period.
CSS Industries shares have fallen 52 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 56 percent in the last 12 months.
