NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Inc. (CPIX) on Tuesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $750,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Nashville, Tennessee-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 7 cents per share.
The pharmaceutical company posted revenue of $9.1 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $945,000, or 6 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $33 million.
Cumberland shares have increased 1.5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $5.58, a rise of 16 percent in the last 12 months.
