In May 2018, the company announced the formation of a 50:50 joint venture with JAIC Motors to develop fuel-efficient and high-quality products. Cummins anticipates rise in China’s market share through JAIC’s partnership and the launch of new products with its four partners in China to be in line with the region’s NS VI emission standards.
