Cytori: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Cytori Therapeutics Inc. (CYTX) on Tuesday reported a loss of $3.7 million in its second quarter.

The San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 59 cents per share.

The developer of cell therapies posted revenue of $1.6 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit 40 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $3.66.
