On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 16 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 20 cents per share.
The developer of cell therapies posted revenue of $1.1 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $12.6 million, or $1.74 per share. Revenue was reported as $3.7 million.
The company's shares closed at 26 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $2.91.
